Kerr Supply Company has been family-owned and operated since 1955. Our founder, Ray Kerr, was a second generation farmer and a hop broker for S.S. Steiner. He started Kerr Supply Co. in hopes to make an Oregon hop farmer’s life easier by providing all the growing and harvesting tools they will need in one central location. Ray’s son-in-law Donald Weathers was next to take over. Donald was a farmer of many crops and animals all over Oregon, loved to fly, and started Bio-Twine Manufacturing with his partners. In 2009 Donald’s son, Tony, took over. Tony farmed hops, hazelnuts, and wheat. After adding up all the hours spent working in his family’s hop dryer, we calculated he’s spent four years of his life in the dryer. He started a custom hazelnut harvest operation to help local neighbors get their crop harvested. In 2026 Tony’s daughter Alexa took the reins after farming for 8 years at the family’s hop farm.
